Why this one is worth the trip

Most of what you pay goes straight back into the room: an open bar and a fully catered sit-down dinner, served by staff. What is left over goes to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital of San Antonio. Nobody is taking a profit off this night.

What you get for it is the part that is hard to price. Panel discussions with the people who shaped this industry, explaining how it took shape and how the processes evolved. A room full of installers whose work you already study. And the award show itself, where the names behind the work finally get read out loud.

If you are new to the trade, this is the fastest education you will get all year. If you have been in it twenty years, these are the people you have been meaning to meet.

Make a weekend of it

Saturday is the gala. The weekend is the rest.

Most of the room is flying in, so there is more to it than one evening. There is an informal Friday night networking outing being finalized, and on Sunday there is a kickball game outside, East Coast versus West Coast, with a DJ. It is the least formal thing on the schedule and probably the one people will still be talking about next year.

Ticket Questions

Are tickets refundable?
Yes. Tickets are refundable up to 15 days prior to the event date. Refund requests must be submitted through Eventbrite no later than September 25, 2026 at 11:59 PM CST. After this deadline, all ticket sales become final and non-refundable.
What is the dress code?
Black tie is mandatory. This is a red carpet night and the dress code is enforced at the door. That means a tuxedo, a gown, a dark suit with dress shoes, or a formal cocktail dress. The evening’s palette runs black, gold, and red, which is a useful guide for a tie, a pocket square, or a dress. Renting is completely normal and nobody can tell.
Will there be alcohol served?
Yes. This is a 21+ event. Valid ID is required.
What is included in the ticket?
The cocktail hour with the sponsors, the panel discussions, the full award show, a sit-down catered dinner served by staff, the open bar, photography access, and the DJ after the show. General Admission and VIP both include all of it; VIP adds a front row seat. Your entry ticket does not guarantee you a Golden Pour nomination or a G.P.A. Trophy.
How much is a ticket and are there extra fees?
Tickets are $225. Eventbrite adds its own service fees and government taxes at checkout, which is not money the program receives. We would rather say that up front than surprise you on the payment screen.
Where does my money go?
Most of it covers the open bar and the fully catered dinner. What is left goes to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital of San Antonio. The Golden Pour Foundation takes no profit from this event.

That is who the panels are built for. Industry leaders walk through how this industry took shape and how the processes evolved, and the room is full of installers who will talk shop with you in person far more readily than in a comment section.
